Environmental Services

Environmental Services Water Treatment Facility staff is on call 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Personnel are available to answer questions or relay work requests to any of the Environmental Services divisions. They can be reached at (620) 441-4492.

Environmental Services Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, and Meter Reader divisions are housed in the Bryant Road Maintenance Shop. Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, and Meter Reading personnel can be contacted through the Public Services Office Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM at (620) 441-4480. After hours, please call (620) 441-4492.

Arkansas City Water Environment Protection Facility personnel can be contacted Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM and on weekends and holidays between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM at (620) 441-4495.

Lead Service Line Inventory Survey
The City of Arkansas City invites residents to complete a survey from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to help develop a Lead Service Line Inventory. The survey is required for all public water supply systems. By participating, residents have a chance to win a $100 gift card. Those who previously completed the survey are automatically entered into the raffle. The winner will be announced after the Lead and Copper Inventory concludes on October 16, 2024.
