GREETINGS FROM FIRE CHIEF BOBBY WOLFE

My name is Robert (Bobby) Wolfe and I have been the Fire Chief in Arkansas City since August of 2012. I have been in the Fire Service for 35 years and most recently served as Battalion Chief in Wichita, Kansas, and I couldn't be more proud than I am being here in Arkansas City and being a part of a great Fire/EMS Department.  The men and women of this Department are to be commended  for their dedication to their profession and I look forward to working with them for quite some time.  Our Department's goal is to take care of our citizens, their property, firefighters and the community.  We stand ready for anything to protect the community.

THE MISSION OF THE ARKANSAS CITY FIRE/EMS DEPARTMENT
The mission of the Arkansas City Fire/EMS Department is to provide the highest level of life and property protection services by protecting and preventing the loss of life and property through professional and efficient planning, preparation, training, fire prevention, public education and delivery of emergency medical services.

Our employees are important assets who each play a vital role and carry the responsibility to express our department values.  We will work to maintain a proud community with a strong sense of safety and security.  We will be dedicated and compassionate professionals, who recognize our greatest strength lies in our team approach.  We will be recognized as leaders in our profession, and as community role models.
