The Historic Preservation Board would like to let people know about the funding opportunities out there for funding for Historic Preservation Projects. The Board would also like to let you know that it has now gained the City the status of Certified Local Government. You can find more information about the program by clicking here. The Board is looking to create a Local Register of Historic Places and is looking for nominations. This can be any property or building that has historic significance inside the City limits including those already listed on the State and National Registers.
There is a grant known as the Heritage Trust Fund and Federal and State Income Tax Credits as well. See the links below for more information about these programs.
