Property Maintenance & Improvement Awards

The Nelson Sensation Award is awarded to citizens who have significantly improved their property.  There is a residential award and a commercial award that may be granted monthly by the Beautification Advisory Board.  Please describe completely the improvements when nominating a property.

The Good Neighbor Recognition Award is awarded to those individuals who continue to beautify their property with their ongoing efforts.  This award may be given to a residential or commercial property.

The Yard of the Week Award runs from March or April (weather dependent) until the end of October.  The Award is made weekly.
