Arkansas City Fire/EMS Responds to Scaffolding Collapse

On May 30, 2024, the Arkansas City Fire/EMS Department responded to an urgent call regarding a traumatic injury at Skyline Homes, 315 W. Skyline Rd., Arkansas City, due to a scaffolding collapse.

Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a male victim who had already been freed from the collapsed scaffolding. The Arkansas City Fire/EMS team acted swiftly to extricate the victim from the roof of a mobile home, ensuring his safety and providing immediate medical attention.

The male victim was then transported to South Central Kansas Medical Center Emergency Room (SCKMC ER) in stable condition
