Facts & Frequently Asked Questions

Location & Use: The grease trap itself is located at 320 South A. St. Arkansas City, KS inside the Senior Citizens Center kitchen used for draining grease, soap, water, and chemicals. This is an in-the-floor unit surrounded by concrete walls and tile flooring. The drain itself runs underground and exits outside building into the alley sewer main. There are two clean outs, one inside next to the trap and one outside near the main.

Replacement with the same type of in-the-floor unit? Yes, we prefer the same unit type. The lid needs to be replaced also.

Technical Clarifications: The bidder would be responsible for cutting and replacing the concrete.

Interested in adding a camera service to locate additional line repair during construction? No, thank you. This has been accomplished.

When can this project be done on site? We will work around your availability and do prefer a during the work week installation if possible.
