Public Building Commission

Municipal Code Part II, Chapter 2, Article III, Division 5. This Commission was formed primarily to provide for the construction of South Central Kansas Medical Center and Patterson Park Subdivision. 

It is the owner of SCKMC’s construction bonds. There are nine (9) members, five (5) of whom shall be the elected City Commissioners, and four (4) citizens are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Board of City Commissioners. 

Terms are two (2) years long.
